An experienced leader and businessman with an outstanding track record of delivering results, Brian has been SCDC's executive director since 2015. Before joining us, he served as Senior Account Executive with Williams Industries, Inc. for 12 years and also served on the Shelbyville Common Council.
Brian and his wife, Lori, are natives of Shelbyville and have four children.
Brian has experience generating new business, satisfying companies from Fortune 500 to small distributors, negotiating contracts, working with existing businesses to help with tools for needed growth and managing day-to-day budgeting and economic development.
He is a Shelbyville High School graduate and earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana University in Bloomington.
